Cassidy Weaver is from Kansas City, Missouri, and currently working on her BFA in Illustration at the Kansas City Art Institute. She will graduate in  spring of 2024. She grew up loving children’s books and watching nature documentaries, and loves the same things to this day! Some of her biggest inspirations are going to cafes and aquariums. Her goal is to create work that inspires others—just as other artists have done for her. The fusion of all these inspirations ranges from  fantasy to reality; fairies and dragons to fish and dogs. Her art manifests in narrative illustrations, diary zines, printmaking and other mixed media.
